The drinking water disinfection necessarily includes a step of "chlorination", which consists in the disinfection with chlorine products (bleach or sodium hypochlorite NaClO, Cl2…). This leads to several negative effects, including the formation of carcinogenic by-products (trihalomethanes or THM). Moreover, conventional chlorination processes require the transport and the storage of toxic and/or dangerous products. The machine shown above is a turnkey system which includes the Cerapem™ membrane installed in a PowerStack™. The stacks are available in five convenient sizes ranging from an individual site to the disinfection equivalent of water disinfection for 150,000 homes.
